My husband and son just stayed at your establishment. When I reserved the room, I inadvertently listed the incorrect date but did not realize it until 3 hours before they were due to arrive. I was not charged, which we appreciate tremendousley. They said as far as the location, it was perfect. Eight miles to the river for fishing. The room however, not such great reviews. They stayed in room 107 where the chair in the room was falling apart. There were water stains on the ceiling, he noticed mold in the bathroom, and was disappointed in the "continental" breakfast. He further stated with a little TLC, it will be a great place.

We had a great experience at the Four Seasons. The rooms were really nice and I loved that my room opened up to the front porch as well. Peaceful to sit on the porch in the country to relax. The staff was really nice also. The gentleman working the night we stayed went above and beyond to help us. Even unlocked and opened our door when my husband had his hands full with our baby in the car seat. We will definitely be staying there from now on.

Bottom Line: Has a homely feeling of Bed & Breakfast, albeit with the do-it-yourself breakfast part.

Pros: Good location within 30 min to Mammoth Cave. Rooms are comfortable. Quite decent beds. Great Internet speeds if you plug directly via ethernet cable (so carry a "travel router" with you).

Cons: Advertises "free breakfast" which is true in a sense that this is a free country, and yes, you can make yourself a breakfast - kitchen/breakfast area has some basic amenities to accommodate that. Wireless Internet is implemented poorly with very slow speed and frequent drops of signal. During my stay it was typical for management and staff to leave premises for extended periods of time, so that nobody was manning the front desk.

Perfect place to go if you just want a getaway. New owner is trying to make some changes and it is a work in progress. Beautiful house and all the bedrooms have their own private bath. Breakfast could use some work, but again work in progress. Rooms were clean which is always a plus. I highly recommend a downstairs back room. All the downstairs rooms have a private door that leads to large porches with porch swings or table and chairs.

DO NOT stay here. It is under new management in which the owners do not upkeep around here. Absolutely, loved the previous owners and they kept the place beautiful. Our window in the room had a broken screen and dead bugs in the inside that haven't been cleaned up. They do have wifi which is awesome but it only reaches to customers staying downstairs rather then everyone up and down. Noticed a few stained spots on the sheets ): didn't like that much. The new owners are helpful on directions and where to eat though. Don't think I'll be staying again though sadly.
